Airport Options:

LAX (Los Angeles)

- Distance: 2 hours & 15 minutes

- Scoop: Be mindful of traffic. The earlier you can fly in the better - to avoid it.

SBA (Santa Barbara)

- Distance: 45 minutes

- Scoop: This is a smaller airport, so flights tend to be more expensive than LAX.

We recommend that you fly in earlier in the day on Thursday, to miss traffic and attend the Welcome Reception at 4pm. Due to cost, we estimate most guests will fly into LAX, however, you could always do LAX on the way in and SBA out of town for a little more convenience.

Things to Do

The town of Solvang where everyone will be staying is a charming Danish Village. There are plenty of things to do, all within walking distance, plus there are other charming towns within a few minutes of town if you wanted to venture out (Los Olivos & Santa Ynez).

There are tons of tasting rooms in town, which makes it easy to enjoy some wine and not worry about driving. You can also venture out to local wineries for a more authentic tasting. There is also a lot of shopping and plenty of wonderful places to eat too!
